A luxurious kitchen refit for an up-market apartment with high ceilings located in the heart of Amsterdam.
The primary material we worked with for this project was high-quality Shinnoki oak wood. We cut the sheets of wood into the correctly measured panels which would later form the body of the exterior sides of the cabinet units. Once they had been cut to size, we passed them through our CNC machine which is pinpoint accurate at milling the wood. It creates grooves and crevasses that enable each panel to slot together perfectly during the assembly process.
The oak wood was pre-finished therefore we didn’t have to spend any time sanding or applying any treatment. This sped up the production phase massively, meaning we could deliver a super quick turnaround time for this project. The Shinnoki oak wood was finished with a black stain which is what gives it that rich, bold and modern aesthetic.
Once it was set, we could begin the assembly process. This can sometimes be one of the trickiest parts to get right because you’re so eager to complete the project that it’s easy to lose focus. We transported the components to the location and began to install each unit one by one. This was the moment of truth. Due to each cabinet being aligned next to each other, if just one panel was the wrong size it could mean back to the drawing board. Our skilled team of craftsmen and women always pay special attention and take great care in everything they produce. Thanks to them, it meant that the project ran smoothly and our client was more than impressed with the final result.
